Hands is bringing GraphGear 1000, DelGuard LX and STAEDTLER 925-35 mechanical pencils into the second phase of its 50th-anniversary program. The retailer’s August 6 announcement sets August 15, 2026, as the campaign opening.
All three Hands-exclusive lines use 0.5 mm lead. The prices below include Japanese tax and apply to each pencil:

Three different approaches at the writing end
GraphGear’s rear button extends its tip, while opening the clip retracts it into the body. DelGuard LX’s mechanism responds to writing pressure and angle to protect the lead; Hands also highlights the lower center of gravity provided by its metal grip.
The STAEDTLER edition keeps a long drafting sleeve and gives the push-button a simple, ungrooved treatment. The release presents established pencil platforms in exclusive editions; it does not announce a newly invented mechanism for the anniversary.
Hands says some branches may not carry the featured products, the online assortment can differ, and stock ends when supplies run out. August 15 establishes the campaign’s start, rather than a guarantee that every store has all three lines. No common end date or production quantity is given for the pencils.
