KITERA has announced gunmetal and navy as its two limited LIFT+ mechanical-pencil colors for 2026, priced at ¥2,500 before Japanese tax. The color choice is straightforward. The delivery plan needs a little more attention.
In its presentation for the FRAT #8 trade show, KITERA described a summer release of Japanese-made pencils, with limited quantities delivered in batches because of production scheduling. The company also warned that the timetable could slip. That notice does not establish that every batch has reached shops.
A limited edition with a staggered rollout
FRAT #8 was held at Tokyo Port City Takeshiba on July 8–9, with advance registration for buyers and industry participants. KITERA presented the LIFT+ colors alongside its SEASAR Kerry collaboration.
For retailers and buyers, the distinction is practical: a reservation opening at one shop and a later arrival at another can be stages of the same rollout. A limited edition need not land everywhere at once, and an out-of-stock listing need not establish that the entire run has finished.
The announcement adds two finishes to LIFT+; it does not specify a production total or confirm a final delivery date. Until KITERA provides that milestone, treat the summer timing as its stated plan rather than a current in-stock promise.
