Tombow is giving MONO graph five cat designs for July 23, 2026, at ¥660 including Japanese tax. The 0.5 mm collection is the third installment in its Japan-only edition program.
The July 16 announcement shows five designs, with names ranging from everyday cat behavior to a curled-up-cat pun:

The cats extend to the shop display
Tombow has illustrated the counter display as well as the pencils and packaging. Its release shows the holder both stocked and empty: the cats remain visible after the last pencil has sold.
Under the artwork, MONO graph retains clip-operated and shake-operated lead advance. Pushing the clip upward locks the shake mechanism for carrying; pushing it down releases the lock. At the other end, the twist-out MONO eraser measures 5.3 mm in diameter and 26 mm long.
Tombow explicitly limits the edition’s sales territory to Japan. The announcement gives no production quantity or separate international release plan.
